Snappy HR was founded in 2018 by Alex Wood, an experienced HR professional. Alex studied Human Resource Management and Industrial Relations (among other things) at Victoria University of Wellington and went on to get her first class honours degree in the subject. Since then, Alex has gained over 8 years of professional experience across various organisations (government, private, not-for-profit).
Through a desire to work more flexibly Alex started up Snappy HR - aimed at being an online HR consultancy for small and medium sized businesses that might not have their own HR department. The idea is that through the online chat function it is super easy for businesses to get clarification on that quick HR question or chat through more complex issues.
